Subpar Case, Look Elsewhere February 1, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I've traveled a lot with this case, and I echo the complaints of the previous reviewer. A few times, the case has come down the baggage carousel with latches unsecured. And because TSA officials for whatever reason have struggled to re-lock my TSA combination locks, the case on occasion has arrived slightly open.

As well, a small external corner piece broke off when I first travelled with the case, there is not much foam cushion remaining in between the inside edges of the case and the edges of my slider, and the plastic name tag piece detached from the case at some point in baggage handling.

I haven't had any trouble with the wheels, and my slider has not sustained any damage while traveling. If there ever is a perfect storm of fully open latches and open TSA locks, that may be a different story.

If I had known better, I would have searched elsewhere for a different case, especially at that price.

Bad Latches October 8, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from New Orleans, LA United States
This case is made by Explorer Cases. The show I bought this for does a lot of flying so this hard case was a must. It fits all of the parts and some accessories very well but every time I would go to get it at baggage claim at least 2  sometimes 3 of the latches would be open and the case would be slightly ajar. I tried using TSA locks to  compensate and prevent the case from opening but those kept disappearing between check-in and baggage claim. TSA assumes it's a rifle because of the shape and always opens the case so I have had to resort to including zip ties inside the case with instructions for TSA to use them in order to prevent the case from opening on its own during travel.
Bottom line...the latches on this case are lame, they open on their own.
